Worldwide Technologies was founded in February 2006 by two Kentucky business men, Mike Jones (owner of Coles Bend Lumber in Smiths Grove, KY) and Kenny Whitworth (owner of Whitworth Tool in Hardinsburg, KY).
Our Story
2006
Worldwide Technologies was founded by Kentuckians Mike Jones and Kenny Whitworth. The company began operation in a warehousing facility with 5 employees in Bowling Green, KY.
2009
WWT expanded to 50+ employees serving hundreds of customers
2010
Operations were moved to a 27,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Franklin, KY where it now resides with over 100 employees
2021
WWT expanded its facility in Franklin, KY
